Even if you don’t have Internet service at your business now, when you get it in the future the terminal will automatically recognize the connection – pretty smart!

The Verifone Vx520 uses thermal paper available at every office supply store like Staples or Costco and no ribbons are required. We offer an optional low cost program for free paper supplies. The paper roll case is the new clam shell design so you just drop the roll in and close it without having to feed the paper through and getting it jammed.

The speed of this terminal is unbelievable. Average transaction time for IP Ethernet is under 3 seconds and even old-fashioned dial up is consistently 5.9 seconds which is twice as fast as other dial up units. Once a transaction is approved it prints in lightning speed of 24 lines per second so a customer receipt prints in just 1.5 seconds. End of day reports take only a few seconds to print. The terminal is so quiet you can’t believe it actually is printing.

The Verifone Vx520 is the easiest terminal to use ever made. There is an easy to read backlit display with a dedicated key for all of the major functions such as refunds, voids, settlement, etc. No more stupid instruction books that might as well be written in Chinese that they are so hard to understand. The green enter key is large and in just the right place. We program your terminal with the Global Payments East restaurant program and customize it for your needs allowing it to either prompt for server number or to just skip server prompts. A variety of useful reports specifically designed for restaurants can be printed from the reports key.

This terminal conforms to the highest security requirements and is PCI PTS 3.X compliant giving you the peace of mind that your customers’ transactions will travel securely into the processing network with end-to-end encryption. This is extremely important as it meets the EMV Chip Card requirements that became effective October 2015 that the vulnerable party in a transaction is liable for any security breach. This will get you off that hook. The software installed in your terminal will allow you to add tips after the sale and still qualify as an EMV transaction.
